Job summary

Fulton Hogan is seeking a Drainage Labourer to support drainage crews on construction and maintenance tasks. The role is outdoors and requires a practical, safety‑minded approach and a team‑oriented attitude.

You’ll assist with pipe laying, trench work and site activities, and help keep worksites safe, tidy and efficient. Applicants should be physically capable, have a Class 1 licence, and be willing to learn and grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Experience with drainage or outdoor ground works preferred.
• Full Class 1 licence required; relevant site tickets are an advantage.
• Strong commitment to safety and wellbeing.
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

We're looking for a Drainage Labourer to join the team and help deliver the kind of Good Work Fulton Hogan is known for. This is a hands‑on role where you'll support drainage crews across construction and maintenance activities, work outdoors in varied conditions, and play a big part in keeping sites running safely and smoothly.

Support drainage crews with pipe laying, trench work, installation and general site activities.

Assist with site set up, tools, plant and material handling.

Carry out physical, hands‑on work safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.

Follow work instructions and safety requirements while contributing to high quality project outcomes.

Help keep worksites tidy, organised and running well day to day.

Roading experience or other hands‑on outdoor work is preferred, but not essential.

A strong commitment to safety, wellbeing and doing the job right.

A reliable, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn from others.

The ability to carry out the inherent requirements of the role, including manual work in varying weather conditions.

A full Class 1 licence is required, relevant site or construction tickets would be an advantage.
