Job summary

Halter is seeking junior to intermediate engineers who combine a strong product instinct with a passion for solving real-world farming challenges. You could contribute across frontend, backend, full stack or platform layers, writing robust, thoughtful code and using AI tools to lift team output.

Qualifications

• Junior or intermediate engineer with a deep product instinct and care for the problem.
• Ability to ship robust, thoughtful work across frontend, backend, full stack or platform.
• Experience collaborating with engineering, design and product teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deliver features end to end for farmers’ surfaces and backend services.
• Make smart architectural calls and back them up with code.
• Collaborate with engineers through design reviews, code reviews and context sharing.
• Contribute to reliability and performance with on-call ownership.
• Develop deep domain knowledge by getting out on farm.
