Job summary

New Era Technology in Auckland seeks an entry-level IT Helpdesk Technician to join our client-site operations in the education sector. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, delivering face-to-face support and guiding users with clear, friendly communication.

Working Monday to Thursday 8 hours and Friday 6 hours, 38 hours per week, on-site at multiple South Auckland locations. The role requires NZ citizenship or permanent residency and a NZ driver's license.

Qualifications

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• NZ driver's license (Full or Restricted) is required.
• On-site work in South Auckland within the education sector.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide on-site IT support.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues for users.
• Document and track issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends.
