Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking an on-site IT Support Assistant to be the first point of contact for education sector clients in West Auckland. You will handle face-to-face and remote inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and manage tickets with care and speed.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, document resolutions, and stay current with technology trends. A NZ citizen or permanent resident with a NZ driver's license is required, with travel between sites and no company vehicle provided.

Qualifications

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency is required.
• Must have a NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted).
• Experience delivering IT helpdesk support and troubleshooting for clients.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide IT support via phone, email, chat, and in person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate support.
• Complete daily timesheets and work with cross-functional teams on site.
