Job summary

New Era Technology, Inc. invites applications for an on-site IT Helpdesk role based at client sites in West Auckland, supporting education sector clients.

You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, handling face-to-face interactions, ticketing, and prioritizing problems with clear communication to non-technical users. You'll work with cross-functional teams, complete daily timesheets, and occasionally travel between sites.

Qualifications

• Must be a NZ Citizen or hold permanent residency.
• Must have a NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted).
• Willingness to work on client sites and provide on-site IT support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via various channels (phone, email, chat, etc.).
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and timely support.
