Job summary

New Era Technology is seeking a motivated IT helpdesk professional to be the first point of contact for client IT issues at on-site sites in Whangarei. You will manage face-to-face interactions, triage tickets, and collaboratively resolve problems with cross-functional teams.

The role requires NZ citizenship or permanent residency, and a valid NZ driver’s license. On-site duties and travel across sites are involved; a company vehicle is provided.

Qualifications

• NZ citizenship or permanent residency required.
• NZ Driver's Licence (Full or Restricted) required.
• On-site role with travel across client sites in Whangarei.
• Ability to communicate with non-technical users and provide clear support.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate support.
