Job summary

New Era Technology NZ is seeking an on-site IT Support specialist to be the first point of contact for IT-related issues at Whangarei client sites. You will communicate with non-technical users, troubleshoot problems, and manage a ticket queue to ensure timely resolutions.

The role requires travel between local sites; a company vehicle will be provided. NZ citizen or permanent resident, and NZ driver's license are essential.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing IT support experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client inquiries and provide technical support via phone, email, chat, and in-person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues reported by clients.
• Document and track client issues using a ticketing system.
• Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate teams and follow up until resolution.
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends to provide accurate and timely support.
