New Era Technology is seeking an entry‑level IT support specialist to join our service team in Palmerston North. You’ll be the first point of contact for on‑site clients, handle ticketing, perform basic troubleshooting, and communicate clearly with non‑technical users.

Work Monday to Thursday 8 hours and Friday 6 hours; up to 38 hours weekly. A company vehicle is provided for travel across sites. NZ citizenship or permanent residence and a valid NZ driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• NZ citizen or permanent resident
• NZ Driver's License (Full or Restricted)
• On-site role in Palmerston North
• Willingness to travel between client sites

Responsabilités

• Respond to client inquiries and provide IT support on-site
• Diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Document issues using a ticketing system and track progress
• Escalate unresolved issues and follow up until resolution
• Stay up to date with product knowledge and industry trends
