Job summary

Absolute It in Wellington is seeking a Project Coordinator on a Fixed Term Contract to support ICT project delivery within a busy government portfolio. You will coordinate meetings, update registers, and take ownership of smaller initiatives end-to-end.

We welcome Administrators/Coordinators with exposure to IT project delivery. A NZ Government security clearance is desirable; candidates must be based in New Zealand with valid working rights and be prepared to engage with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating IT or project delivery environments.
• Proven ability to manage registers, risks, issues and actions.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Able to work with stakeholders and influence outcomes.
• Eligible for NZ Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate PMO delivery activities and meetings
• Update registers, risks, issues, and actions
• Support monthly portfolio and programme reporting
• Coordinate non-standard service request delivery
• Develop schedules, task lists, and resource plans
• Track progress, status, and cost recoveries
