Job summary

Eil Global in Auckland, New Zealand seeks IT engineers for on-call dispatch roles across desktop, server, and network support. You’ll respond to P1–P3 incidents, perform installation, configuration, and hardware maintenance, and participate in monthly remote/on-site training.

• Experience solving DC hardware issues.
• Ability to install and configure hardware and software.
• Familiarity with cabling and fibre installation best practices.
• Strong communication with clients and team.

Responsibilities

• Provide dispatch IT engineering support across on-call tickets.
• Handle desktop/network issues and OS patches.
• Install, upgrade, and configure hardware and software as needed.
• Adhere to SLA and respond during business hours and after hours.

We are Eil Global, a company providing IT services in Asia Pacific and EMEA across various technologies such as desktops, Servers, networks and data centre technologies. We are headquartered in Adelaide, Australia and have clients and offices across Asia Pacific & EMEA regions

Site Locations:

48 Shortland Street, Auckland 1010 New Zealand

Mode: Dispatch - On call ticket based/Freelance/Part time/Casual Basis

Engineers should be skilled in:

• DC support
• Racking & Stacking
• Cabling, Fibre cabling
• Implementation and Configuration

SLA : 16/7, NBD (Onboarded engineers should be available during business hours and out of business hours to attend P1,P2,P3 tickets, Mon-Saturday)

Each onboarded tech will undergo BGV done by the customer, once the BGV is initiated, engineer to make sure he/she remains for a minimum period of 6 months

Once the engineers are onboarded:

There will be online training every month to be completed during site visit/remotely. BGV verification will be there

Other Dispatch Projects:

• Exp in handling desktop/network issues
• Capable of installing and upgrading Operating Systems
• Install patchesSoftware and Hardware Break Fix
