Our IT Business System Analyst needs a 2IC! This is a new role in the organisation where we need an IT Business Support person that can be focused on identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues across computers, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity.
You will assist staff with IT issues remotely or in person, maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions, and support the reliable operation of business systems, devices, and networks.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve common issues involving computers, software, printers, mobile devices, and network connectivity in a timely and effective manner
Assist staff with IT issues remotely or in person, communicating solutions clearly, professionally, and supportively
Maintain accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues to support faster diagnosis and continuous improvement
Support the reliable operation of business systems, devices, and networks, ensuring they remain current, secure, and fit for purpose
Perform routine checks to identify potential issues early, including slow performance, outdated software, and possible service interruptions
Support backup and recovery processes to help protect critical business information and maintain service continuity
Assist employees with everyday IT requirements, including user account setup, software installation, device preparation, onboarding, and offboarding activities
Provide basic guidance and training to help staff use business systems confidently and effectively
Develop clear, easy-to-follow guides, checklists, and FAQs for common IT tasks and recurring support requests
Help protect systems by monitoring for security risks, including unauthorised access, suspicious activity, and malicious software
Hands-on experience is preferred, while formal certification is optional
Practical problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well under pressure and communicate professionally with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and software providers
Knowledge of Windows operating systems, Android OS, and Microsoft Office
Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft 365, SharePoint and OneDrive
Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system administration fundamentals
Experience with ticketing systems
Ability to liaise effectively with external vendors and software providers to support issue resolution, service requests, and system improvements
