Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an Invoicing and Cost Controller for its Air & Ocean team, based at Māngere AKL or Sydney. You’ll ensure accuracy, timeliness and integrity of invoicing, accruals, credit notes and WIP, supporting month-end reporting and continuous process improvement.

You will work closely with Operations and Finance to close job files, investigate variances, and drive data health across TMS platforms, with a focus on controls and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Experience with operational accounting or invoicing processes
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data and systems
• Freight platforms such as OFS or CargoWise experience
• Clear communication across Operations and Finance
• A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all operational job files are accurately invoiced and closed in a timely manner
• Oversee follow-up and resolution of non-invoiced or incomplete job files
• Review profit and loss variances, ensuring explanations meet country thresholds
• Monitor and drive closure of job files in TMS systems in line with global KPIs
• Manage AP invoices on hold and unallocated AP, identifying root causes and actions
• Oversee accrual deletions and ensure compliance with CEVA financial controls
• Maintain accurate job file registration and conduct regular data health checks
• Drive adherence to Operations Control SOPs across Air & Ocean teams
• Monitor auto-rating processes to improve billing and accrual accuracy
• Oversee credit note issuance, analysis and first-level approvals
• Monitor WIP ageing and support timely resolution of outstanding items
