Job summary

Aotearoa New Zealand Association of Social Workers is seeking an Accounts Administrator to support the 4PL and packaging operations. This fixed-term role covers accounts payable/receivable, invoicing and reconciliation across transport, warehousing and packing activities.

You will work closely with operations teams, carriers and subcontractors to ensure accurate cost allocation and timely customer invoicing. Strong ERP experience and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation experience.
• Experience with transport billing, carrier invoices and customer invoicing.
• Knowledge of international freight, container movements and demurrage charges.
• Experience reviewing operational activity to ensure all costs are captured and recovered.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions.

Responsibilities

• Processing and managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Reviewing carrier and subcontractor invoices against agreed rates.
• Preparing customer invoices and processing manual billing.
• Reconciling supplier, customer and general ledger accounts.
• Monitoring transport, freight, terminal, detention and demurrage charges.
• Ensuring all recoverable costs are correctly on-billed to customers.
• Maintaining customer and carrier rate cards and pricing schedules.
• Completing daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Investigating billing discrepancies and processing credit notes.
• Supporting margin analysis, weekly audits and operational reporting.
• Assisting with cash-flow, month-end and general finance administration.
