Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Kilbirnie in Wellington is hiring a Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC. You will join a vibrant, supportive team delivering high-quality pharmacy services and patient care.

Qualifications

• NZ Intern APC currently required.
• Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripts in/out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack and manage stock, including expiry dates.
• Provide professional medicine advice to patients and customers within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records with privacy compliance.
• Process prescriptions using Toniq (pharmacy software).

The Opportunity

Chemist Warehouse Kilbirnie is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team as. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring the highest industry standards are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy management software (Toniq)
