Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Palmerston North is seeking a passionate full-time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35–40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team. You will deliver high-quality pharmacy services and collaborate with the team to maintain industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current NZ Intern APC.
• Pre-registrant year available immediately.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the business.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Provide professional advice to patients on medicines and health enquiries within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing
• General dispensary administration

Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.

Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.

Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.

• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist
