Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Albany is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team. You’ll share your expertise, collaborate on best practices, and drive professional growth while delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

You will be at the forefront of ensuring industry standards are met, providing professional advice to patients, managing dispensary tasks, and supporting a friendly, customer-focused

Qualifications

• Current NZ Intern APC is required.
• Pre-registrant year available immediately.
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack, and manage stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing
• General dispensary administration

Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.

Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.

Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
