Job summary

Chemist Warehouse NZ is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our Albany team. You will deliver high-quality pharmacy services and support our community with best practices in a vibrant, patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to undertake pre-registrant year immediately.
• Able to work well in a team and autonomously.
• Strong work ethic and dedication.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
• Willingness to learn and grow with the business.
• Knowledge of pharmacy products.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripts in/out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack and manage stock, including expiry monitoring.
• Provide professional advice to patients on medicines and minor ailments.
• Maintain prescription records with privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Perform calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.
• Process prescriptions using Toniq pharmacy software.

Chemist Warehouse Albany is seeking a passionate Full-Time New Zealand Intern Pharmacist (35 to 40 hours per week) with a current NZ Intern APC to join our vibrant team as. In this dynamic role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering high-quality pharmacy services, ensuring the highest industry standards are met.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.
• Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.
• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.
• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.
• Process prescriptions using pharmacy management software (Toniq)
