Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Cambridge is seeking passionate Full-Time (fixed-term) New Zealand Intern Pharmacists with current NZ APCs to join our vibrant team as. As part of our community, you'll have the opportunity to share your expertise, collaborate on best practices, and drive professional growth.

Qualifications

• Current NZ APCs required for intern pharmacists.
• Full-Time fixed-term position in Cambridge, NZ.
• Experience in retail pharmacy is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with scripts in/and out and dispensing.
• General dispensary administration.
• Order, receive, unpack and manage stock, monitoring expiry dates.
• Provide professional medicines advice to patients within scope of practice.
• Maintain patient records with privacy and regulatory compliance.
• Process prescriptions using Toniq and assist pharmacists.

Chemist Warehouse Cambridge is seeking passionate Full-Time (fixed-term) New Zealand Intern Pharmacists with current NZ APCs to join our vibrant team as. Job Responsibilities

• Assisting with scripts in/and out and dispensing.


• General dispensary administration.


• Order, receive, unpack, and manage dispensary stock, including monitoring stock levels and expiry dates.


• Provide professional advice to patients and customers on medicines, minor ailments, and health-related enquiries within scope of practice.


• Maintain accurate prescription records and patient information while ensuring compliance with privacy and regulatory requirements.


• Perform the necessary calculations for checking by the Pharmacist.


• Process prescriptions using pharmacy management software (Toniq)

Skills

• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously

• Retail Pharmacy experience advantageous


• Willingness to learn and grow with the business

Certifications

Ability to undertake pre-registrant year immediately
