Job summary

Iplex Pipelines NZ in Auckland is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales across the wider Auckland region, from Kaikohe in Northland to Bombay. You will develop and execute plans to grow sales and market share while delivering exceptional service to customers.

Key tasks include partnering with core merchants, managing pricing and contracts, delivering product training, and identifying opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Preferably 3–5 years’ experience within the plumbing, building, or related industries.
• Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities, with the ability to communicate value and align solutions with customer needs.
• Exceptional relationship building and customer service skills, with a natural ability to engage and connect with people.
• Proven sales capability, including revenue management and a track record of consistently achieving sales targets.
• Demonstrated business acumen, with strengths in planning, forecasting, key account management, and effective CRM utilisation.
• A solid understanding of pricing strategy and margins, with confidence in interpreting margin performance to support effective decision making.

Responsibilities

• Partnering with our core merchants, to provide seamless end-to-end service from securing the business through to delivery.
• Achievement of sales budgets and plans, encompassing pricing negotiations, order management, contract renewals, promotions etc.
• Deliver product training presentations and merchandising resources to support our channel partners.
• Understand market dynamics and identify opportunities for sales growth with current and new partners.
