Job summary

Belmont School (Auckland) seeks a proactive Learning Support Coordinator to join our team on a 0.8 FTE basis. You will identify learning needs early and coordinate targeted supports with a focus on inclusivity and evidence-based practice.

You will work closely with teachers, parents/whānau, RTLB, MoE specialists and external agencies to build staff capability and ensure smooth transitions, guided interventions, and strong records management.

Qualifications

• Experience in learning support coordination.
• Ability to coordinate targeted supports and track progress.
• Experience with tiered interventions and transitions.

Responsibilities

• Coach staff in inclusive, evidence-based teaching practices.
• Bridge between classroom teachers, parents/whānau, RTLB, MoE specialists, and external agencies.
• Manage learning support records and lead transitions across the school.
