Assurant in Auckland seeks a Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, turning requirements into clear system behaviours, rules, data and integration needs. Working within the Delivery Team, you will transform business, product, operational and technical needs into actionable specifications for our NZ Automotive projects.

This 12-month fixed-term contract role is based in central Auckland with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Translate business and technical needs into clear requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Strong process analysis and workshop facilitation skills.
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, data models, and data mapping.
• Experience supporting testing and defect analysis and tracing outcomes to requirements.
• Solid documentation and stakeholder management using Jira, Confluence, Miro, Lucidchart or Visio.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in delivery environments.

Responsabilités

• Analyse business, product and operational processes to understand requirements and shape future-state solutions.
• Translate business needs into clear system requirements, business rules, process flows and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse systems, APIs, integrations and data flows with knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL and data models.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate across Product, Operations, Finance, Architecture, Engineering and QA to align business needs with technical solutions.
• Support delivery through requirements traceability, defect analysis and implementation, ensuring solutions remain aligned to business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, data quality, controls and ways of working.
