Job summary
BuildRight Construction AU seeks an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician in Waikato, NZ, to diagnose faults, maintain critical equipment and commission new systems across commercial and industrial sites.
This role rewards hands-on trades experience, safety focus, strong customer service and accountability, with on-call roster participation and sponsorship options for suitable overseas applicants.
Qualifications
- National Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning or National Trade Test Certificate Class III Assistant Tradesperson.
- Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in central plant systems and chillers.
- Hands-on experience with commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Willingness to participate in an on-call roster.
Responsibilities
- Service, inspect and repair commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Maintain air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration systems according to scheduled maintenance requirements.
- Install, commission and startup HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
- Interpret technical drawings, specifications and equipment documentation.
- Follow WHS procedures and site protocols.
