Job summary

Total Refrigeration in Auckland is seeking a skilled Commercial Refrigeration & HVAC-R Service Technician to join our team on the North Shore. You will install, service and maintain commercial and marine refrigeration systems, delivering exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate is trade-qualified, with at least 3 years' experience, holds Current Limited Electrical Registration, a full NZ driver's licence, and a solid knowledge of chilled water systems and HVAC-R controls.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified Refrigeration Technician with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience.
• Current Limited Electrical Registration
• Full NZ driver’s licence required for travel to various job sites
• Experience with chilled water systems, particularly large screw compressor plants
• Proficient in using HVAC-R diagnostic tools and equipment
• Knowledge of electrical controls, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques
• Experience with pressure testing and leak detection equipment
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to industry regulations
