Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Electrician or Electrical Service Technician to join our expanding team in New Zealand's Auckland region. The role involves servicing, maintaining, diagnosing, and installing a range of commercial door and access systems on-site while delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should have proven electrical experience, a valid full driver’s license, and be willing to travel within the region.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrician, Electrical Service Technician (EST), or Service Technician.
• Experience in electrical servicing, maintenance, or fault diagnosis.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems.
• Current full driver's license is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and repair commercial entrance and access systems.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and installation of automatic doors.
• Maintain and repair roller doors, manual doors, high-speed doors, and gate systems.
• Respond to scheduled maintenance and emergency breakdown callouts.
• Travel between customer sites to complete service work.
• Provide professional customer service and technical support.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records.
• Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
• Participate in ongoing training and technical development.
• Work within a non-call roster as required.
