Job summary

Foleys is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join the Christchurch Mechanical Services team. You will service, maintain and install HVAC systems, including heat pumps, across commercial projects, working independently and communicating professionally with clients and site teams.

The role emphasizes fault-finding, diagnostics and timely job completion with a strong health and safety focus. A full NZ driver’s licence is required and there are opportunities for training and career

Qualifications

• Proven experience in HVAC servicing, maintenance and/or installation.
• Strong heat pump fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Foleys is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our Christchurch Mechanical Services team. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys solving problems, and is looking for a varied role with a well-established company.

About the Role

As an HVAC Service Technician, you'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and installing a range of HVAC systems, including heat pumps. You'll work across a variety of commercial and service-based projects, with plenty of opportunity to use your technical skills and work independently.

You will be responsible for:

• Servicing, maintaining and installing HVAC systems, including heat pumps

• Carrying out fault-finding, diagnostics and repairs

• Working independently to identify and resolve issues on site

• Completing jobs to a high standard and within agreed timeframes

• Communicating professionally with clients, site teams and colleagues

• Completing job documentation, including timesheets and materials used

• Working safely and following all relevant company and site requirements

• Supporting other trades and the wider team when required
