Job summary

Firth in New Zealand is seeking a proactive HSE Coordinator to join our safety-focused team in Auckland. Reporting to the National HSE Manager, you will coordinate HSE initiatives, support compliance, deliver projects and help our people thrive in a safe environment.

You will prepare compliance documentation, maintain records, support onboarding and HSE training, participate in audits and investigations, and help drive continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications

• Formal Health & Safety qualification required.

About the Opportunity

Reporting to the National HSE Manager, you'll play an important role in coordinating HSE initiatives, supporting compliance, delivering projects, and helping our people thrive in a safe and healthy work environment.

In this role, you will support the delivery of Firth's HSE and wellbeing programmes while coordinating HSE projects, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will prepare compliance documentation, maintain accurate records, and support onboarding, inductions, and HSE training programmes across the business.

You'll also assist with audits, investigations, and corrective actions, partnering closely with leaders to drive positive safety outcomes.In addition, you will analyse HSE data to provide meaningful insights, while supporting policy updates, change initiatives, and communications that contribute to a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture.
