Job summary

Ministry of Health in Wellington seeks a proactive HR Administrator to join the HR Business Partnering team. You’ll support managers and employees, coordinate core HR processes, and help deliver high-quality people services across the Ministry.

In this role you will be the first point of contact for Ask HR, coordinate recruitment support, onboarding/offboarding, wellness payments, and employment documentation.

Qualifications

• HR practices and employment legislation understanding.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for Ask HR and recruitment enquiries for managers, employees and candidates.
• Coordinate recruitment support, onboarding, offboarding, wellness payments and employment documentation workflow.
• Provide high-quality administrative and coordination support to the HR Business Partnering team.
• Build relationships across the organisation and contribute to continuous improvement of HR systems and processes.
