Job summary

Eichardt’s Private Hotel (including Eichardt’s Bar and Restaurant and The Grille By Eichardt’s) is recruiting for a full-time Housekeeping Supervisor in Queenstown. You will lead the housekeeping team to uphold five-star standards across guest rooms and public areas.

Successful applicants will have at least 3 years’ experience in housekeeping or a NZ Register Level 4 qualification, with strong leadership, training and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a Housekeeping Team or NZ Register Level 4 qualification.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to train and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housekeeping Team to deliver five-star cleanliness and presentation.
• Train new staff.
• Manage daily and weekly team meetings and performance.
• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance and Guest Services.
• Complete cleaning checklists and safety schedules.
• Manage rosters and timesheets.

This full-time, permanent role is varied, challenging and very rewarding. We require an experienced, keen and well-presented individual with initiative, flexibility and a pro-active approach.

Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties and responsibilities to include:

Successfully leading the Housekeeping Team to deliver consistent exemplary standards of cleanliness and presentation for all guest rooms and public areas as well as five-star guest service

Training of new staff

Day to day management of the Housekeeping Team including problem solving, daily and weekly team meetings and ensuring ongoing team performance and engaging team culture

Reporting of maintenance issues and liaising with Maintenance and Guest Services Teams to ensure all guests experience five-star standards

Completion of daily, weekly and monthly cleaning checklists and safety schedules

Checking timesheets and rosters

Successful applicants for the above position will have 3years’ experience within a Housekeeping Team, in a similar role or alternatively an NZ Register Level 4 qualification. In return, Imperium Collection of Boutique Hotels provide:
