Mövenpick Hotel Auckland in the heart of the city is seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to uphold pristine room standards and guest comfort. Join ateam that values presentation, quality and a warm hospitality spirit.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy 4-5 star hotel environment.
• Passion for providing unparalleled levels of service.

• Fluent in English.
• Exceptional grooming and articulate in communication.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Room Attendants daily, liaising with the different departments of the hotel on queries and requests.
• Assist and supervise room co-coordination duties as and when required.
• On the Job training of employees to ensure rooms are cleaned to the highest standards and in an efficient manner, performance management of employees, adhering to policies and processes.
• Inspect and release rooms, ensuring defects are reported.
• Attend to guest queries and complaints, liaising with the Executive Housekeeper when required.

Job Description

To be successful in your application, you must exhibit the following qualities:

• Have an outgoing personality with genuine passion for Hospitality
• Be flexible. You are expected to work a variety of shifts which includes weekends across a 7 day/ week roster including early mornings and late nights
• Be driven. You are all about quality and presentation and you have the desire to progress in hospitality
• Show initiative. You are approachable team player and you can think outside of the box
• Be a juggler. You are able to manage multiple tasks at any given time
