Job summary

Nurse Maude in Christchurch is seeking a Community Educator/Supervisor to lead workforce development for our Support Worker staff. You will report to the Homecare Operations Manager and help design orientation, training and competency plans.

You will conduct annual performance appraisals, maintain training records, assist with workplace verifications, and liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in a teaching or training role.
• Experience working with staff and clients in the healthcare sector.
• Competent in the use of computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Guiding and educating our community Support Workers.
• Developing the support worker orientation, training and competency plan.
• Completion of annual performance appraisals for the support workforce.
• Accurate and up-to-date record keeping for all Support Worker training.
• Assistance in workplace verification and assessments.
• Liaising with clients, Support Workers and internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent and high quality service.
