Job summary

St John of God Hauora Trust is seeking a Workforce Development Coordinator (part-time) in Wellington to coordinate ongoing education for our staff. The role is ideal for a registered nurse who values staff development and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification with NZ registration.
• Interest in staff education and continuous improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work independently.
• Cultural competence and EGL understanding.

Responsibilities

• Oversight of the induction and orientation programme for all staff in the region.
• Ensuring accurate records are held of all internal and external training.
• Facilitation of ongoing training programmes.
• Consultation and training for the management team as required.
• Working in partnership with the Workforce Development Team in our Christchurch service.
• Assisting with the implementation of our internal Learning Management System.
