The Co-operative Bank Limited is seeking a New Home Lending Specialist to guide customers through the journey from first conversation to drawdown. You’ll provide clear and empathetic support, balancing customer outcomes with policy and compliance, while building strong relationships and pursuing new opportunities across NZ.

You will leverage your home lending knowledge to promote responsible lending and deliver high-quality, needs-based lending and Life insurance experiences.

Qualifications

• Strong home lending product, policy and process knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage lending applications, customer outcomes and turnaround times.
• Strong relationship-building and customer service across phone and digital channels.
• Problem identification and proactive decision making.

Responsibilities

• Guide customers from first conversation through to decision and drawdown in their home lending journey.
• Provide clear, empathetic and informed support, helping customers understand options and feel supported at every stage.
• Take ownership of lending decisions within delegation, balancing customer outcomes with quality, time and compliance.
