Job summary

New Zealand Government is seeking a senior leader to head the National Network Operations, based in Auckland. You will guide the Day of Operations, Regional Road Operations, and Transport Scheduler teams to keep road and air networks safe, efficient, and reliable.

You will lead performance across the network, drive continuous improvement, coach leaders, and manage the national budget. This is a high-impact, enterprise-wide role with wide stakeholder collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational performance of the national network across road and air transport, with safety, compliance and regulatory assurance.
• Drive performance improvements and cost efficiencies by working with Scheduling and Design teams.
• Provide strong people leadership by coaching, guiding, and mentoring teams to deliver high performance.
• Hold accountability for the National Road and Air Network Transport budget and contractor relationships.
