Job summary

RWR Construction in Auckland is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead infrastructure projects from award through to handover. You will work closely with clients, field teams, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver safely, commercially and on programme.

Qualifications

• Proven Project Management experience within infrastructure, civil construction, utilities or a similar contracting environment.
• Experience managing projects from award through to handover.
• Strong commercial understanding and confidence managing project costs.
• Experience coordinating field teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and keep projects moving.
• Practical problem solving and decision making.
• Excellent communication across site and client stakeholders.
• Understanding of health, safety and quality in contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Managing infrastructure projects from planning through to completion and handover.
• Developing programmes and coordinating labour, subcontractors, materials and equipment.
• Managing project budgets, costs, claims and variations.
• Maintaining visibility over project margins and commercial performance.
• Building strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
• Coordinating internal delivery and field teams.
• Managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identifying project risks and resolving delivery issues early.
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality.
• Providing accurate project reporting across programme and financial performance.
• Supporting repeat business through strong project delivery and client relationships.
