Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a specialist civil contractor known for delivering complex three waters, earthworks, and civil infrastructure projects. We are looking for 2x Project Engineers to join their team across Waikato and the Bay of Plenty.

These roles would suit either an experienced Site Engineer ready to take the next step, or a Project Engineer early in their career who wants to develop their skills on genuinely challenging work.

Qualifications

• Experience as Site Engineer or Project Engineer.
• Strong background on three waters, earthworks or civil infra projects.
• Understanding of contracts, cost control, and project planning.

Responsibilities

• Support end to end delivery of three waters and civil infrastructure projects.
• Manage project documentation, planning and reporting.
• Contribute to commercial performance and cost control with project leadership.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Monitor quality and safety outcomes on active sites.

Due to continued growth and project wins, we are looking for 2x Project Engineers to join their team across Waikato and the Bay of Plenty

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting end to end delivery of three waters and civil infrastructure projects
• Managing project documentation, planning, and reporting
• Contributing to commercial performance and cost control alongside project leadership
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers
• Monitoring quality and safety outcomes across active project sites

What You'll Bring

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer
• Strong background work on three waters, earthworks or civil infrastructure projects
• A commercial mindset, with satisfactory understanding of contracts, cost control, and project planning
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, consultants and site teams.
• A proactive attitude and hands-on approach to solving problems
