Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is hiring for a front desk/guest services role within our resort hospitality team. You will welcome Owners and Guests, manage check-ins and inquiries, and identify opportunities to invite guests to onsite sales presentations.

You will also assist with light café-style duties to ensure a smooth guest experience. We value energy, warmth, and a proactive approach, with targets for presentation bookings while maintaining exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel reception, guest services or a sales-focused environment.
• Strong ability to build rapport and start conversations confidently.
• Proactive, target-driven approach without compromising guest experience.
• Confidence with coffee preparation and light food service duties.
• Current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate.
• Current Food Safety certificate.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, energetic and reliable attitude.
• Professional presentation and grooming.
• Availability across a seven-day roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome Owners and Guests and assist throughout their stay.
• Manage check-ins, check-outs, reservations and guest enquiries.
• Build rapport with guests and invite them to onsite sales presentations.
• Explain presentation experience and secure guest bookings.
• Work toward presentation booking targets while maintaining guest experience.
• Respond to telephone and email enquiries.
• Share local recommendations and assist with tours and bookings.
• Prepare barista-style coffee and heat/serve light food.
• Assist with luggage and other guest requests.
• Complete cash handling, payment reconciliation and night-audit duties.

• Assist with luggage and other guest requests
• Complete cash handling, payment reconciliation and night-audit duties

What You’ll Bring

• Confidence preparing coffee and completing simple food service duties
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
