Travel + Leisure Co. seeks an experienced Resort Manager to lead operations at our Wanaka property. The role involves owning resort performance, guiding a high‑performing team and delivering world‑class experiences for owners and guests in one of New Zealand’s most spectacular destinations.

You will oversee front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services while driving guest satisfaction, budgets and KPIs in a service‑led culture that reflects our brand.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within hotel or resort operations.
• Strong knowledge of hotel/ resort departments and guest service excellence.
• Experience managing budgets, financial performance and reporting.
• Excellent communicator with ability to engage stakeholders and teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily resort operations across all departments including front office, housekeeping, maintenance and guest services.
• Drive guest satisfaction and ensure outstanding owner and guest experiences.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and KPIs to meet business targets.
• Build, mentor and develop a high‑performing team.
• Partner with regional and corporate teams to implement initiatives and improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with owners, local partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies, health and safety standards, and NZ regulations.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery.

• Partnering with regional and corporate teams to implement business initiatives and improvements
• Maintaining strong relationships with owners, local partners and key stakeholders
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and New Zealand regulatory requirements
• Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, service delivery and overall resort performance
