Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is looking for a Guest Service Generalist to join our Waikato team. You will greet owners and guests, check in and out, answer inquiries by phone and email, assist with luggage, and manage cash handling and tour bookings to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role spans front office, housekeeping, Food & Beverage and maintenance tasks, requiring a professional appearance, excellent communication, and a flexible schedule that includes weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work a flexible roster including weekends and evenings.
• Proficient with basic administration tools (Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties: greet owners and guests, check in/out, answer calls and emails, assist with luggage and portage.
• Process cash handling and balancing procedures; support tour and travel inquiries/bookings.
• Assist with night audit procedures and reservations for guests.
• Support housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and maintenance tasks to ensure guest satisfaction.

Ensuring that all Owners and Guests receive efficient and courteous service; making them feel welcome during their entire stay through a proactive and positive attitude.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Perform all duties of the front desk, including greeting owners and guests, Check in and out, Answer telephone and email inquiries, portage of luggage, cash handling and balancing procedures, tour & travel inquiries/bookings, reservations and night audit proceduresPossess a thorough knowledge of the operation of all administration equipment eg.
