Distinction Te Anau Hotel & Villas is seeking motivated and reliable Guest Service Attendants to join our team. This position is primarily focused as a room attendant, ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming stay.

Due to the nature of hotel operations, the successful applicant may also be required to assist within our Food & Beverage and Guest Services departments during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or hospitality preferred but not essential.
• Strong attention to cleanliness and presentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Room Attendant Duties (Primary Role).
• Clean and service guest rooms to hotel standards.
• Make beds, change linen, and replenish guest amenities.
• Clean bathrooms, bedrooms, and public areas.
• Vacuum, dust, and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, and lost property.
• Follow all health and safety procedures and cleaning protocols.
• Assist with food and beverage service in the restaurant or bar.
• Set and clear tables and deliver food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness of dining and service areas.
• Assist guests with enquiries and provide information about hotel facilities and local attractions.
• Assist guests with luggage to and from the rooms.
• Support front office operations as required.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.

What We Offer

• Competitive hourly rate of $25.00 – $27.00 per hour depending on experience.
