Job summary

thl is hiring Guest Experience Hosts in Auckland for a full-time fixed-term placement during the busy high season. You will greet guests, guide vehicle collection and returns, and ensure their experience starts and ends smoothly.

A confident customer service mindset and a can-do attitude are essential to delight travelers. You will engage frontline sales, meet targets, advise on vehicle operations and local travel tips, and respond to inquiries across in-person, phone, or email channels.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality essential.
• Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
• Second language (Spanish, German, Dutch or French) advantageous.
• Able to remain calm under pressure and work in a dynamic team.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and guide them through vehicle collection and return.
• Drive frontline sales to meet individual and team targets.
• Be the go-to expert on vehicle operations, local travel tips and roading procedures.
• Handle customer inquiries face-to-face, by phone, or email.
• Participate in health and safety practices to keep the team safe.
• Ensure quality control of our rental products.

The Role:

We are on the lookout for dedicated Guest Experience Hosts to embark on a full-time, fixed-term journey with our Auckland team during our bustling high season.As a Guest Experience Host, you'll be the face of thl, greeting adventurers as they embark on their journey and ensuring their experience is seamless from start to finish. You'll be part of a vibrant team dedicated to providing top-notch customer service and making holiday dreams.

What You'll Do:

• Welcome customers with warmth and enthusiasm, guiding them through vehicle collection and return.

Who You Are

• A customer service superstar with relevant experience and a passion for people.
• Fluent in English, with excellent communication skills and computer literacy.
• Proficiency in a second language, particularly Spanish, German, Dutch and French, are advantageous.

• Flexible and ready to work a rotating roster, including weekends.
• In possession of a full, current driver's license.
