Placements24 seeks a skilled Grant Writer to advance funding for a charitable organization serving underserved communities. This fully remote role focuses on foundations, corporations, and government grants to support programs in Queenstown and beyond.

You will research opportunities, craft compelling proposals, and manage the applicant process from start to finish, collaborating with program staff and funders to ensure timely submissions and strong outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3+ years of proven grant writing experience with successful funding outcomes.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills; ability to convey complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience researching funding opportunities and understanding grant guidelines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and grant research databases.
  • Non-profit sector experience and passion for mission.

Responsibilities

  • Research funding sources including foundations, government grants, and corporate programs.
  • Write, edit, and submit persuasive grant proposals and supporting documents.
