Job summary

HELP Auckland is seeking a thoughtful Grants Writer (Part-time 10 hours per week) to join our Fundraising Team in Auckland. You will craft compelling funding applications and reports to support survivors of sexual harm, while balancing limited resources in a charity setting.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in grant writing or fundraising and experience in not-for-profit sectors. Central Auckland location with collaborative team support and opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Has 2+ years of experience in grant writing or fundraising.
• Experience in not-for-profit sector is preferred.
• Write high-quality grant applications and reports reflecting HELP’s kaupapa and impact.
• Liaise with various teams to gather data and evidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop compelling funding applications and proposals.
• Ensure funding outcomes are tracked and reported accurately.
• Research new grant opportunities and help shape funding strategy.
• Build strong relationships with funders through clear communication and accountability.
