Job summary
Stantec in New Zealand is seeking a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Power) to join our team across multiple NZ locations. You’ll work with experienced engineers on electrical projects, gaining practical design and delivery experience through the 2-year Engineering NZ Accredited graduate development programme.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, be graduating in 2026 or earlier, and enjoy problem solving, collaboration, and learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with expected completion before employment.
- Willingness to obtain driving licence (preferable).
Responsibilities
- Assist with investigation, analysis, and design of electrical systems and components.
- Perform engineering calculations using industry-standard software.
- Assist with developing electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Support design in accordance with codes, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative solutions.
- Support construction-phase activities including reviews and clarifications.
- Undertake site visits to gain practical project experience.
