Stantec is offering a Graduate Electrical Engineer (Power) role in Aotearoa New Zealand. You will work with experienced engineers on electrical projects, gaining hands-on experience across the project lifecycle and building technical, analytical, and professional skills.

The position targets new graduates (or soon-to-graduate in 2026) with an Electrical Engineering degree, with a NZD74,000 base salary plus benefits and a strong support network for accreditation and career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
• Expected completion before commencing employment (Jan–Feb 2027).
• Full clean driving licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with design and delivery of electrical engineering projects.
• Contribute to calculations using industry-standard software.
• Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and reports.
• Develop electrical designs in line with codes and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project teams to deliver solutions.
• Support site visits and construction-phase activities.
