Job summary

Inovo is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to contribute to land development and infrastructure projects across New Zealand. You’ll work with a collaborative team and gain hands-on experience from day one under experienced mentors.

You’ll be involved in design and delivery from concept through to construction, using 12d and Civil 3D, building relationships with clients and contractors while developing your technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience or exposure to 12d, Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of NZ planning processes and RMA good practice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to construction.
• Work alongside experienced engineers, planners, surveyors and project managers on multidisciplinary projects.
• Develop practical skills using industry-leading software, including 12d and Civil 3D.
• Attend site visits and gain construction and project delivery experience.

• Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and consultants.

About You

We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, curious and ready to learn.

You'll ideally have:

• A Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience or exposure to 12d, Civil 3D or similar CAD software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of the Resource Management Act (RMA) and planning processes.
• A keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn.
• A full New Zealand Driver Licence.
• New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
