Job summary

Inovo Projects in Christchurch, South Island, is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer with land development design experience. The role focuses on delivering high-quality civil design, modelling and coordination across multidisciplinary teams on development projects.

With a strong pipeline of current and future work, we’re seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineer proficient in land development design.

This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to take your next step and contribute to a variety of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will possess intermediate experience in civil engineering, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a collaborative environment.

About you:

• Hold a relevant tertiary qualification, such as a Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, National Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Ideally 3+ years’ experience in civil engineering and/or land development.
• Practical experience using civil design software such as 12d Model and/or Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, EPANET, stormwater modelling, 2D flood modelling software and Microsoft Office.
• An understanding of the Resource Management Act (RMA), consenting and planning processes relevant to land development projects.
• Good working knowledge of civil engineering design and construction specifications, standards and relevant codes.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary project teams.
• New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship is essential for this position..
