Job summary

The Treasury – Te Tai Ōhanga in Wellington, New Zealand, is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager to oversee IT projects that streamline business processes. You will scope, plan, budget, and deliver initiatives on time, working closely with stakeholders across The Treasury and central agencies.

You will lead project teams, manage risks and issues, and ensure handovers to IT operations, with post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing IT projects, including scoping, planning, and delivery.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present to diverse audiences.
• Ability to obtain a New Zealand Government security clearance.
