Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management in New Zealand is seeking a Pricing & Retail Analyst to unify pricing, retail data and market insights. You’ll turn data into practical recommendations that guide regional leaders on pricing, promotions and profitability across markets including NZ, Australia, North America and Europe.

You’ll work across commercial, sales and product teams, translating insights into actions that shape pricing strategy and commercial growth for the Animal Management business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' experience in a relevant commercial, analytical, pricing, retail or product-focused role
• Strong Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis
• Experience with Power BI or a similar reporting and visualisation tool
• A strong understanding of commercial drivers such as pricing, margin and profitability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline

Responsibilities

• Build pricing models, reporting and processes that improve visibility and consistency
• Analyse pricing, promotions, margins, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
• Turn complex data and market insight into clear commercial recommendations
• Support pricing decisions for new products, promotions and broader commercial planning
• Partner with sales, product, finance and regional leaders to improve commercial decision-making
• Help establish a more connected and strategic approach to pricing across Animal Management
