Job summary

Gallagher Animal Management is seeking a Pricing & Retail Analyst to build pricing models, report on performance and drive smarter commercial decisions across NZ, Australia, North America and Europe.

You’ll combine pricing, retail and market data with strong Excel modelling and Power BI skills, translating insights into actionable recommendations for regional leaders. A 3–5 year track record in commercial or pricing roles and a Commerce/Business/Finance degree are required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in a commercial, analytical, pricing, retail or product-focused role.
• Strong Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis.
• Experience with Power BI or a similar reporting and visualisation tool.
• A strong understanding of commercial drivers such as pricing, margin and profitability
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• A degree in Commerce, Business, Finance or a related discipline

Responsibilities

• Building pricing models, reporting and processes that improve visibility and consistency
• Analysing pricing, promotions, margins, market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
• Turning complex data and market insight into clear commercial recommendations
• Supporting pricing decisions for new products, promotions and broader commercial planning
• Partnering with sales, product, finance and regional leaders to improve commercial decision-making
• Helping establish a more connected and strategic approach to pricing across Animal Management
