Job summary

Lets Grow Gardening is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our Christchurch Central team. This full-time role involves maintaining outdoor spaces and ensuring gardens stay well-manicured year-round.

You will perform mowing, weeding, planting, pruning and general upkeep, addressing health of plants and safety. A valid licence and reliable transport are preferred for client site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Gardener or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care and garden maintenance techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently to meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good physical fitness to perform manual gardening tasks.
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation; trailer backing skills are ideal.

Responsibilities

Lets Grow Gardening is seeking an experienced Gardener to join our dedicated team in Christchurch Central, Canterbury. As a full-time Gardener, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces of our clients, ensuring they are well‑manicured and thriving all year round.

What you'll be doing

• Carrying out a full range of gardening tasks, including mowing, weeding, planting, pruning and general maintenance


• Identifying and addressing any issues or problems in the gardens, such as pest infestations or plant diseases


• Adhering to all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
